The marque

We restore the metal. Then we correct the mistakes the factory had to make.

GRANDSTAND is a commission-only motor works. One car at a time, eleven months on average, every fastener documented. We restore the body to better than factory — then re-engineer what the period could not: fuelling, cooling, braking, damping.

Engine character, ride height, seats, the radio question. Every decision recorded in a specification both sides sign.

03

The build

Eleven months on average. A private build log updates you weekly — photographs, dyno pulls, invoices. No surprises.

04

Delivery

500 shakedown kilometres on our roads, then a handover day at the workshop. The full build sheet comes with the keys.

Capabilities

The whole car, under one roof

Engine machining

Blueprinted in-house, dyno-proven before it ever meets the car.

Body & paint

Dry-ice stripping, steel repair, paint over bare metal only.

Chassis & damping

Corner-weighted, geo set for real roads, dampers valved to spec.

Electrics & ECU

Modern looms in period wrapping. Starts every time, even in rain.

Interior trim

Original patterns, better hides, soundproofing you cannot see.

Gearbox & driveline

Rebuilt boxes, plated diffs, and the occasional dogleg argument.

Braking systems

Servo conversions and modern compounds behind period wheels.

Road testing

500 logged shakedown kilometres before any car is handed over.

In print

The finish is concours; the engineering underneath is better than factory. These are restomods you can actually use.

Octane Magazine

On Commission 011

Somewhere between a restoration house and a race shop — and more honest than either.

Classic Driver

The build sheet reads like a race car. The ride reads like a Bentley.
