Some cars earn their restoration by provenance. This GTV earned it by stubbornness — three owners, one family, and half a century of Sunday drives before it came to us tired but entirely unmolested.
A twin-cam with its voice restored
The 2.0-litre Nord engine was blueprinted and rebuilt with a fast-road cam, lightened flywheel, and twin 45 DCOEs. Cooling was quietly modernised — aluminium radiator, electric fan — because a beautiful car that overheats in traffic is not a beautiful car.
Trim is Rosso over tan, retrimmed to original patterns with modern soundproofing hidden beneath. Delivered after 2,750 workshop hours, and driven to its new home — 340 miles, no trailer.
