Red vintage Porsche 911 in the workshop

The donor arrived from Stuttgart with forty-one years of history, a soft head stud, and an owner brief that ran to a single sentence: build the car it should have been.

Backdated body, forward-dated everything else

The shell was dry-ice stripped to bare metal, seam-welded, and backdated to long-hood proportions with steel panels — no fibreglass anywhere on this build. Under the skin: a 3.8-litre flat-six on individual throttle bodies, coilovers valved for British B-roads, and an unassisted rack that talks constantly.

Status

Currently in final assembly. Paint is complete — a period Signal Red laid over bare metal — and the drivetrain has passed its first dyno session at 372 bhp. Delivery is scheduled following a 500-kilometre shakedown.
