The E30 M3 is a homologation paper made metal, and most surviving examples are now too precious to drive. This one was bought to be driven — hard, weekly, in all weathers.
Touring-car spec, factory manners
The S14 was rebuilt to 2.5 litres on individual throttle bodies — 238 bhp at a shrieking 7,600 rpm — with a dogleg box and a plated diff. The cabin stayed stock: cloth Recaros, factory radio, no cage. From the kerb it is just an Alpine White E30.
2,300 hours, delivered in February. The owner’s first message arrived that evening: a single photograph of the rev counter, needle at seven and a half.
