Silver Porsche 912 in the studio

The 912 spent decades as the 911’s apology. We think it was always the better-balanced car — it just needed forty more horsepower and someone willing to argue the point.

The featherweight argument

The 2.0-litre flat-four was built to 170 bhp on twin Webers, breathing through a stainless system we fabricated in-house. At 965 kg with a tank of fuel, it out-corners its six-cylinder brother on any road tighter than a runway.
